Chelsea won the 2009 FA Cup Final, after beating Everton 2-1 on 29 May 2009. Chelsea found themselves a goal down after 25 seconds, when Louis Saha cooly slotted the ball past Petr Cech, for the FA Cup's fastest ever goal. Despite this, Chelsea continued to put pressure on Everton, and after 22 minutes the pressure payed off, when Didier Drogba equalised. Chelsea continued their fast paced style of football and on 72 minutes, Chelsea took a well deserved lead through Frank Lampard. Despite supressed pressure from Everton, Chelsea held on and won their 5th FA Cup.
