Nathan Benjamin Ake (born 18 February 1995) is a Dutch footballer, currently playing for Reading, on loan from Chelsea F.C.
Chelsea career[]
Ake signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2011 from Feyenoord, where he had been playing since he was 12.
On 26 December 2012, Ake made his Chelsea debut, coming on as a substitute in the dying minutes of a 1-0 win over Norwich. He wore number 57 during the match. On 27 February 2013, he made his first start for the Blues, in an FA Cup tie against Middlesborough. Ake was once again on the winning side as Chelsea prevailed 2-0. The Dutchman once again started, this time in midfield in a 3-2 Europa League loss to Rubin Kazan- the first time Ake had been on the losing side as a Chelsea player.
