Samuel Eto'o Fils (born 10 March 1981) is a Cameroonian international footballer who currently plays as a striker for Chelsea F.C.
Chelsea career[]
On 29 August 2013, it was confirmed that Eto'o had signed for Chelsea on a free transfer. Eto'o reportedly took a huge wage cut from around €20,000,000 a year to €8,000,000.
On 14 September 2013, Eto'o made his debut for the Blues, wearing the #29 shirt. However, this was not a day to remember for the striker, as Chelsea suffered a 1-0 defeat to Everton. On 19 October 2013, Eto'o scored his first goal for the club, giving the Blues the lead in a 4-1 win over Cardiff. On 6 November 2013, Eto'o scored twice as Chelsea beat Schalke 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
