Micheal Ian Mancienne (born 8 January 1988) is an English defender who played for Chelsea F.C. from 2006 to 2011.
Mancienne was scouted by Chelsea at the age of 9 and was an ever present in the youth and reserves team. He signed a proffesional contract for the Blues in 2006 and made the bench for the final game of the 2005-06 season. He made the bench in the 2006 Community Shield and the first two league games of the 2006-07 season. Despite this, he was sent on loan that season and the 3 after that. His only Chelsea appearances came in the latter stages of the 2008-09 season. His first appearance was on 14 February 2009, in an FA Cup tie vs Watford. He also made his first appearance in Europe just 11 days after that. His Premier League debut came in a 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic and he made the substitutes bench in the 2009 F.A. Cup Final. At the end of that season he was named the Chelsea young player of the year.
Mancienne didn't make anymore appearances for Chelsea and spent his last two seasons at the club on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
