Victor Moses (born 12 December 1990) is a Nigerian international footballer currently plays for Stoke City, on loan from Chelsea F.C..

Chelsea careerEdit

After 4 unsuccessful bids, Wigan finally accepted Chelsea's offer of around £9,000,000. On 24 August 2012 chelseafc.com confirmed that the Blues had signed Moses. Four days later it was confirmed that Moses had been handed the number 13 shirt, last worn by Michael Ballack.

Moses was an unused substitute during the 4-1 UEFA Super Cup defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid in Monaco, before coming on as a second-half substitute in successive league games against Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City. He made his first start for the club in the 6-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Capital One Cup, and capped a solid display with his first goal for the Blues, heading home to complete the scoring on the night. A week later he was handed his European debut, starting in the 4-0 win against FC Nordsjaelland before being replaced by Eden Hazard midway through the second half. Having impressed in the 5-4 Capital One Cup win against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, Moses was handed his first league start three days later for the visit to Swansea. He appeared to have secured all three points for the Blues by giving Chelsea the lead midway through the second half with a close-range header, before the Welsh side equalised in the closing stages. Four days later, however, Moses was the hero when he headed home a stoppage-time winner to secure a 3-2 Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk.

On 5 January 2013, Moses scored another goal in an FA Cup third-round win away at Southampton.

On 2 September 2013, Moses was loaned out to Premier League rivals Liverpool, for the 2013-14 season.

After returning to Chelsea, he was loaned out again on 16 August 2014, this time to Stoke City.
